1. What makes Summit Saunas different?

Every sauna we build is handcrafted with premium materials, top-tier heating, and true attention to detail. Noprefab kits, just custom design and real craftsmanship.

2. Can I customise my sauna’s features?

Absolutely. From size, layout, lighting, cladding selection and heating. We tailor everything to suit your space and style. You can select these options in our Getting started forms

3. Do you build saunas for commercial spaces or gyms?

Yes we build saunas for gyms, wellness centres, and boutique retreats. Just let us know early so we can spec it accordingly.

4. Can you work interstate?

We mostly build in Victoria, but we do travel for select premium projects. Get in touch with your location and we’ll see what’s possible.

5. How long will it take to build my sauna?

Most installs take 2–4 weeks on site. Complex custom builds may take longer — but we’ll map it out clearly in your timeline.

6. What kind of power supply will I need?

It depends on room size and heater selection, Usually 32 amps single phase minimum and Ideally 3-phase power

7. How hot will my sauna get?

Our tradtional saunas run up to 90–100°C.

8. Can you include a cold plunge or outdoor shower?

Yes we can integrate an outdoor shower or leave space for a plunge. Let us know what you’re planning in our getting started form and we’ll design around it.

9. Can I finance the build?

We don’t offer in-house financing, but our clients secure funding through personal or home improvement loans. If needed, we can connect you with a trusted finance broker who can help find the right option for your situation.

10. How can I be sure my sauna will be perfect?

We only take on builds we know we can nail. Design to delivery, you’ll be involved every step of the way. We never rush our jobs.

11. Is there a warranty on the sauna?

Yes we offer a 12-month workmanship warranty. Heaters and components are also covered by their own manufacturer warranties (usually 2 years+ in a domestic setting).

12. How do I maintain my sauna?

Wipe down surfaces after use, leave the door open to dry out, and give it an occasional deeper clean. We’ll give you a full care guide at handover.

13. Do I need council approval?

Indoor saunas typically don’t require a permit. For outdoor builds, no permit is needed if the structure is under 3m x 3m — and most of our designs fit within these limits. If your project is larger or in a restricted zone, we’ll help you figure out what’s required.

14. Will a sauna add value to my property?

Yes, a well-built sauna can boost your property’s value, especially when it’s designed to match the home and finished to a high standard. While every market is different, many clients see strong returns, particularly in premium areas where wellness features are in demand.
